The Crisis Help-to-Rent forum has been created to provide a place where anyone involved in making the private rented sector a viable housing option for homeless people across the UK can share their thoughts, challenges and best practice. Crisis have worked with the private rented sector since 1997 and we know it can play a valuable part in filling a gap for much needed accommodation across the UK, but is not always fit for purpose, particularly as a housing option for homeless people.
Commissioned by the Oak Foundation and delivered by Crisis, this forum exists to identify how the private rented sector can best serve people who are homeless or vulnerably housed by providing homes that are stable, accessible and safe. The forum builds on the discussions we have had at five best practice events we held across the UK earlier in the year and a national conference scheduled for 2nd November 2016. Sign up to the forum and join the conversation.
